Ras and 6 does not get you 2. The value of 1-2 in this draft is huge, as the top 2 are above the next tier.
If Ras had a good year and was a few years younger, maybe. But signing him to a long term contract is very risky, there is a reason why posters don't see that as a viable option.
SJ would be better off trading the #2 pick for a guy like Dobson and signing him long term. Better dman and very much younger.
