The annual vote, put on by the Mascot Hall of Fame, aims to recognize and honour the best mascot characters and programs.

“Over the years, Harvey has delighted Flames fans and kids of all ages with his antics and continues to be one of the most recognizable mascots in all of the professional sports,” Harvey’s bio reads.

The executive committee of the Mascot Hall of Fame and members of the general public can vote on the class.
The vote will open on Sunday, May 11, at 12:01 a.m. EDT (10:01 p.m. MDT, Saturday, May 10) and close at midnight EDT on Saturday, May 24 (10 p.m. MDT, Friday, May 23).
