I’m actually surprised at how much he backed off on offensive talk when asked about Canada being 51st state. “It takes two to tango”, “(military) we’d still defend you if anything happened”, but just talked in circles so you could pull enough sound bites out to make it sound like he hasn’t changed his mind on anything.
