This is bold, considering his experience in the NHL has almost all been on the wing but I still feel Zary has #1 C potential (Prime Daymond Langkow, rather than Sidney Crosby). He had some pretty exciting flashes, and was really coming into it before his January knee injury threw him off. He also played centre in the AHL.
I'm hoping the Flames have told him to work on the position this offseason, and I'd like to see a long look at Huberdeau - Zary - Coronato this year, as it really feels that that line should work if Zary can figure out the centre position at the NHL. Zary has a pretty good shot, and a developing two way game, so that could work well with a hard working shooter and Huberdeau's playmaking.
