I wouldn’t count on that. These guys are people more than players, and there’s still a few around who actually value and respect those who employ them and help them develop. I would say Coronato is one of those guys and perhaps Wolf is too. There are still athletes who value the community they are a part of and this impacts how they approach contracts. Guys like Wold and Coronato can always spend their post career lives on a beach in Hawaii, but I would wager Wolf is looking to sign long term right where he is.
