Also, obviously housing costs are important but they're not the only thing. People who bought there years and years ago are OK with their house value increasing, for the most part; they're not okay with ground beef costing 30% more than it did a couple of years ago, a gallon of milk being 7 bucks instead of 4.50 etc.
