The Canucks are not going to get a king’s ransom for Hughes. They have zero leverage. There wouldn’t be a bidding war because everyone knows he’ll wind up NJ anyway. So something like Nemec or Silayev (not both) + Mercer + 2nd. But they’d also have to move out cap, so a deal would get complicated. I could see them moving on from Hamilton (hard to find the ice time for Hughes + Hughes + Hamilton on the back end).
No chance the Devils deal Hischier - it would open a huge hole in the roster.
