I wish there was an understanding that steady and measured leadership that unites is needed at this time of crisis. The conservatives may have been the right fit to balance out some of the failed policies of the LPC (immigration comes to mind here) but the game has completely changed.
Pierre Poilievre's brand of rage bait isn't what the moment needs and really just further divides us all. It was especially telling to see that he lost his riding (Carlton). I really do hope that the CPC takes a look at what makes a great leader. The ability to unite rather than harnessing rage and dividing makes a great leader, I really do believe that's why the LPC won yesterday. I really do hope that both the LPC and CPC can work together as Canadians through this crisis
