My father has always been conservative; but since retirement he has filled much of his free time in the RW echo chamber. First was Danielle Smith radio, and now he is an active poster on Twitter.
He will spend a couple hours going through Twitter and works himself into a fuss about something.
Last night, i sent a picture to my family group chat with PP losing his riding, which i rightfully think is funny - especially given the party claimed 145 seats elsewhere.
My mom texted me this morning and told me not to send anything to him today. He has been seething mad all day.
I've told him a thousand times he needs to get off twitter and go find something to do; because its not healthy. Doesn't listen.
He's not MAGA, but I am worried he is on his way there, which makes it tougher to be around. He's stopped brining up politics around us for the most part because we just ignore it; but there are usually a few snipes in our group chat.
He also believes that university indoctrinated me; which is pretty funny because i was a pretty staunch conservative until the Harper/Trudeau election where I, like many sat in poltical no-man's land.
