If I was approached as a CPC MP to step down to let PP parachute in I would be asking for at least seven figures to do so. One thing for PP to suffer the most catastrophic collapse in at least Canadian political history, another for him to not even win his own seat and need to be a DEI MP. I'd be looking at it like I did my job, I won my seat, so for me to flush my career away for a loser like PP I need to be well compensated for that.
