Listening to this right now and there is a huge emphasis on the questions and discussions about mental health care. One reporter asked specifically about Schizophrenia which surprised me because it was the first time I heard that angle come up regarding this incident. Not sure if the reporter knows something the general public doesn't. They said they could not comment, but went on to talk a while about people needing help and not getting it, and also mentioned substance use disorder. They fell short of saying that was the issue hear, but the fact they talked about it so much during this presser makes me think they are saying it without actually saying it.
It was also mentioned that the police had an interaction with the suspect as recently as the day before the festival and then another one back on March this year.
