I think the biggest takeaway for the Kings from last night was finally stopping the Oilers PP. We can focus on the fact that the Oilers won the previous three series but in reality the Kings outplayed the Oilers every series at 5on5 but the Oilers PP was at a ridiculous 47 percent through those 18 games. Hard to stop anyone gifting the other team 2 goals a night.
Last night was crazy. Is every game going to be 6-5? Nope. The biggest detriment to the Kings may have been their lead was too big. Allowing the Oilers to go maximum chaos. Which they thrive at. If that game was 2-0 going into the 3rd the Kings probably shut it down like they have to teams all year. Just move on and play your game and the King's depth should take over.
