He will be in the NHL next year but I also think a break from the league will be in the cards for him developmentally as well and will be released to go to the WJC.
I don't think anybody has any illusions of the Flames sending Parekh back to junior. Unless he blows all of the tires in training camp, you can lock him into a roster spot.
