Something stripped down, low-budget, gritty. A moody, action-packed film that doesn’t rely on big CGI set pieces, but leans into street-level violence, relentless pacing, and a raw sense of justice.
No dumbass 'who cares?' villains or throwaway bad guys, just real, dangerous people you actually want to see taken down. A character-driven mafia takedown that feels more like John Wick meets The Town than your typical superhero fare.

Something I thought they did well in the Daredevil sequel was really make no effort to tone Frank down. You want help from The Punisher? You'll get help from The Punisher but only in the manner in which The Punisher provides it. Which means gregariously extreme violence.
And thats the way we like it.
