I agree with Sofa GM, I would be expecting a late first and a B level prospect back if he goes, don't have huge expectations now that the one crazy price deadline opportunity was missed. He's got a big personality, has been a great Flame and eats a lot of minutes for the flames but I don't think he's elite in any category, not a great skater or defender and your market is limited to teams willing to pay at least 7x7 and where he's willing to re-sign. Though hopefully someone is desperate and that return inches up. But I could see an offer from the Sharks being the Stars pick and a recent 2nd or 3rd level pick.
It probably comes down to whether or not they feel Parekh is ready to play next year as if so, you have Weegar and Parekh as your two top right shot dmen and Andersson should be moved or the Flames will be stuck with the new contract a long time. I know Weegar can play the left too but I think replacing Hanley in the top 4 should be its own separate decision and search.
