If Vancouver goes full rebuild (Hughes UFA in 2 years? Yikes), Calgary could be one of the only teams that could land Pettersen. Cap space? Yes. Picks/prospects? Yes.

I'd do it. Team needs a 1C, making a risky trade is one of the only paths available. We've seen other players blossom with a change of scenery. I think we've got the team culture to fix Pettersen.
