That would be a fantastic return. I’ve kind of lost hope in trades like this happening at the draft though. Conroy has gone into the last two drafts ready to trade players for picks and no one was interested. All of them want to wait till later because the picks have their highest value on draft day.
Getting 11th overall could be a huge move if it also meant Conroy had an opportunity to package 11th overall + the New Jersey pick (18th overall) to move into the top 10 and get a center like O’brien or Frondell. Very doubtful for any of these things to happen but would be amazing.
