I think a lot of people underestimate the talent gap between the NHL and AHL. The best players at the AHL level are tweeners at the NHL level – or else they get promoted. Nobody on the Wranglers' roster could have taken Andersson's minutes without getting caved at least as badly as he did.

A half decent bottom pair would have been able to absorb some of the minutes Anderson had even if you didnt pull him out if he line up. Both those guys had an opportunity to grab a position neither one did.
My point is simply that i am not as convinced as some of how many defenders we actually have who are legit. Seems right now its brewski, parekh and maybe morin. Kuz and solo arent 20 anymore and neither one seems any closer to becoming a full time nhl’r
