But I have to think the goat is Roden. He had a terrible at bat with the bases loaded earlier in the game, taking big huge hacks at breaking pitches way out of the zone. Then in extra innings (bottom 10th) runner on 3rd with 1 out getting the ball to the outfield wins the game and he pops it up. 0 for 5 is one thing but the bases loaded especially was a bad at-bat.
Hopefully they can win the series tomorrow.

Neither Yimi or Hoffman were available yesterday. At the end of the day this hangs on the offense. Multiple chances to win it with good fundamental hitting and just flailed away. During the broadcast they showed that the Jays are the best in the league at cashing those types of runs in. Yesterday they died by that sword and once again got out homered. I don’t think they even got a ball to the warning track.
It’s great their fundamentals are better, that’s a huge step for this club but you are gonna need to put some balls in the seats eventually.
