Yes.
The Cons already have the youth vote. They are the only ones talking about affordability and housing and good paying jobs, in a simple language that the younger voters can relate to.
The problem is, that there is no meat behind the CPC claims to provide any of these things. There are ways to lower the cost of living while increasing the standard of living, but the Libs aren't trying to attempt any of these, and the Cons would never do them in a million years. That's because it would have to make massive swings in the ways the nation views a lot of their traditional ways of doing things.
An election is about huge promises, but not huge delivery.
Personally, especially after seeing what the UCP and Trump did (promising the world and then burning it down for personal profit), I don't really trust the PCP to do anything positive, and that their promises are hot air.
The Libs promises are pretty damned boring, but that doesn't capture the youth vote.
So, old man ads.
