Sharks: Andersson, Brzustewicz, Poirier, 1st round pick (25'), 2nd round pick (25').
Help on D short term: Andersson (Extension in place?)
Help on D medium term: Brzustewicz, Poirier
Help on D long term: 1st round pick 25', 2nd round pick 25'
Would that be enough? You don't see top-3 picks traded often because of the potential star factor, but San Jose is stocked on forwards already and this would fill in the gaps in their lineup quite well IMO. Thoughts? Out to lunch?
It's a bit uncomfortable decimating our defensive depth, but that's usually a sign that it's close to fair value, no? Flames would still have Weegar, Parekh, Bahl, Pachal.

The Hershel Walker trade essentially ended up as being for 3 first round picks,3 seconds and a third.
And draft picks in the NFL are way more valuable as high drafted players are often instant starters. Third round picks have exceptional value. You see deadline rentals for 5-7 round picks.
Your trade has an abundance of assets but there is nothing premium about any of the assets. You haven’t included anything that really hurts.
Parekh would need to be the first asset included or any flames offer would be immediately beat.
The mention of a Hershel Walker trade, or the Great Train Robbery, simply spells SJ’s intention to move the pick if someone wants to make an insane offer. And that would need to start with a very premium assets.
