I get not playing the big guns so they don't get injured, but I'm hoping for a win because it will break the franchise record and that's neat!

It's that time of the year where all Oil haters come out of the woodwork to cheer for LA.

I for one welcome our honorary Kings fans. It's a wee bit endearing. Except for Nucks fans. They are delegated to the #### chair, but nonetheless still welcome I guess

This game has no importance. Kings should sit their star players because injuries are more important to prevent. Best to go into playoffs as healthy as possible.

Father and Son

Taylor Ward playing means this is the first father-son duo to play at least one game for the LA Kings. His dad is Dixon Ward, who played for the Kings in the 90s.

Came home it was 1-0.

Showered then took my kid a bath. I checked the score again, and it's 5-1.

The Flames are a good team, better structured and more consistent than Montreal and Vancouver, you send a "B-team" you'll get 5-1

So that was technically a game that took place on ice with skates and stuff I guess. Good for Ward. Literally everything else forgettable.

Out of all the games the Kings have played this season, this game, for sure, is one of them.
