Not to say the same issue wouldn't influence results here, but there hasn't exactly been an abundance of female candidates at the federal level.
Only for parties that were never expected to be contenders to begin with.
I'd welcome that opportunity. But like with Clinton and Harris next door, they'd have to present a compelling case to win the ballots, gender aside.
