lol, also there is some nuance to it. You implied you knew at christmas that weren't making it because they couldn't play at a playoff pace, that is false. They played at a traditional playoff pace the rest of the way...your great prediction was saved by a 10th place team winning 12 straight.
You also thought they were a bottom feeder at the start of the season, now bragging about being right when they get 94-96 points. The Flames did WAAAY better down the stretch than you predicted you totally fluked out.
Its like if I said X team won't win the stanely cup and they lose in game 7 OT of the final...I was right I guess but considering how close they came out of all the teams its not exactly anything to write home about.
Next year if you want to do a victory lap give us a points range, not just "they won't win" and then a victory lap when they don't. I can do that with 97% accuracy for every team every season.
