2 or 3 teams improving isn't really relevant...its a 32 team league. Some will get better and some will get worse. I think the Flames are on the upswing...could they have a bad season with injuries or who knows what? sure but right now I don't predict it. Flames were one of the best teams in the stretch drive...pretty sure you said they would fall out badly when other teams picked up their pace and the schedule got hard. Goalposts keep being moved to explain the Flames 94-96 point season.

After adding Frost, Farabee, and getting Backlund and Bahl back they were a different team IMO. Shame about Zary.

If you think the Flames were flukes or lucky the last couple months we have a very different view on things...if anything the Flames were unlucky, incredibly so.
