Just stick to the plan of getting younger, build through the draft and with acquisitions of U-25 players.
Andersson, Coleman, and Bean should be on the trade block.
Draft centers with the 2025 picks.
Don't sign any FAs or UFAs to 7/8 year deals if they are 29 years or older.
In the end the NHL is a league of parity right now - you see that in the Eastern conference this year where 7-16 in that conference was pretty tight most of the year.
Next year I expect the West will be the same with San Jose, Nashville and maybe Chicago improving, and the Flames could finish anywhere in that 7-16 range depending how things go.
Just stick to the plan and don't overreact to one seasons results, good or bad.
