Disappointing final season outcome but lots to love this season and lots to be optimistic for for next season:
- First round picks x 2.
- Second most cap space in the league w/ an organization that has a shining reputation in how it treats its players (and a new state of the art barn on the way).
- A young superstar goaltender.
- Major trade chips (Naz, Andersson, Coleman and to a lesser extent, Backlund)
- Major progression from Klapka, Coronato, Pospisil, Bahl.
- Stable of high quality D prospects looking to make the jump (Parekh, Brz, Poirier, Solovyov, Kuznetsov).
- Great head coach and GM tandem that are instilling a great culture.
Can’t wait for the draft and to watch the Kings curb stomp the Oilers this year.
