One bleary-eyed and heady-ached Sunday morning someone offered me the only painkiller they had, which was some Midol, and I washed it down with the only booze available -- a couple "hard" lemonades. Then I went for a stroll down 17th and felt like my head was hollow and time was going really slow. That was much more of a hangover delayer than a cure. I don't recommend it.
I don't think anything is a cure. Eating greasy food means I go from headache/tired to headache/tired/nauseous, so that doesn't help.
The best piece of advice I can offer for heavy boozing is when you are on a roadtrip/camping or just on a bender, drink enough water or gatorade to take at least one clear piss before you start again. That, to me, means you are at least re-hydrated from the night before and that means it's time to start de-hydrating for the night ahead.
