Still the oldest Masters winner. I vividly remember watching this with my Dad. Norman only needed a par on 18 to force a playoff but he went full Norman hitting his anpproach into the stands. Very different than this tournament, Nicklaus made a charge for the ages and didn’t fumble it away.
It will take a lot for a tournament to ever top that one. This one is right there with Mickelson’s first Masters IMO. But the drama on this one was just off the charts.
