Without defining what a top line player is, that list can be interpreted a lot of ways.

Fundamentally I can't say I disagree too much with Scorp. I think Coronato can become a 35 goal scorer, and right now there's 41 guys in the NHL with 30 goals. So I think he's the one player who I think can be a top line guy 5 years out. But I'd be pretty surprised if he was a top in 30 points. So he's not a core foundational piece to me.

But at this point the team is potentially at 3 years out of the playoffs, and Parehk is exciting but Honzek to me is still a bit meh and this year its two picks at like 18-21 to add and no second of their own, so the one Avs this year. Wolf, Coronato, and Zary are from Trelivings time. So there's not much for centers and it's not like the team has 10 picks in the first two rounds in the next 2 years. So it's really not until next years draft that we really know if the team has added any other blue chippers to Parehk after what could be 4 years out of the playoffs. At that rate...it could be a 10 year project.
