Hunt has always been loved by every coach he has ever had. Yes, he is a tweener, but he is a guy you can plug into your lineup and know that it won't hurt you. This is why coaches tend to want to sign this guy. He is good, cheap depth for teams trying to compete.

Now, you may argue that the Flames should shift gears and play the youth and give up on competing, but that's a different argument.

I would personally prefer to see Suniev and Parekh in the lineup tomorrow as I think this team is probably running on fumes and injuries and could use an injection of youth, excitement and fresh legs to help them out, with potentially help with scoring (scoring may be too much to ask from them off the bat!). Heck, especially with Suniev since he has just come from college where he was playing a more structured nhl-style game vs older players. However, if Huska (big IF) decides to play Hunt, it is because he wants someone who is reliable out there, and I wouldn't be the slightest bit upset about it. However, if the Flames are eliminated and he isn't playing Suiev and/or Parekh even in game 82, then yeah, I would be upset.

Huska is going to play who he thinks gives him the best chance to win the game tomorrow, period.
