Depression sucks, for sure.
But, also... it's not like this team has been hitting grand slams for 40 years and I'm sitting here ignoring all of it. Every year has been the same thing. '04 was a happy accident along the way, but outside of that... what have we done that's been any different than what we're doing right now? Dog fight for the last spot and the chance to get swept by Winnipeg... but more likely miss by 2-4 points and draft middle of the pack again.
I'm never not going to be a Flames fan... but I think it's fair to say they've earned the "talk to me when you try something different" outlook I have right now.
