Either way the stakes are pretty low for playing vs sitting Parekh. Flames have a ~1/8 chance of making the playoffs vs the minor value of having Zayne play a few games this year.
From a fan standpoint I’d love to see him in action over the likes of Bean, Hanley, or Pachal. From an asset standpoint there isn’t a major difference either way. Parekh playing 5 games this year won’t be the make or break moment for the flames though, they have played 77 games prior to this where they could have firmly placed themselves in or out of the playoffs.
