b) sit someone that has been through the wars for you all season
Believe it or not ... it doesn't feel like excuses and jumping through hoops to this side. It feels like a logical progression towards incorporating a young, great player by the end of the season.

I mean it sure feels like excuses when one side brought up Cale Makar, then the other acted like it was unheard of and he's the only one ever that's done that. Every reason why he should is meet with a roadblock, including not wanting to split up..Joel Hanley. Those are excuses and looking for reasons not to play a young player.
If anyone actually started with saying they'd like to see him in a practice or two first then sure, that I can understand. But questioning is physically and mental preparation going in and saying it would be "irresponsible" to play him is pure nonsesne.
