I watched some Gretzky highlights last night. His skating was nice and fluid, his stick handling and puck protection were top tier, his vision was ridiculous, it's clear the way he thought the game was far ahead of everyone else on the ice. But man, I just can't get over how bad a lot of the goaltending looked in the 80's......
