I understand the sentiment, but I suspect it is more routed in a feeling that the Liberals have been harder on your industry and the Conservatives have not been, I say that because all we can really go off is the record, and if you want to look at the record in the last 50 years, the scoreboard is liberals 2 pipelines, conservatives 0.
I don't think it's a cohesive argument, electing a party who is otherwise economically short sighted and irresponsible, because they promise to make it easier for some large companies to make money (and they vaguely alludes to some trickle down economics for why that is good), without haven a proven track record of doing so.
