Gunn is usually reliable but that trailer did nothing for me.

Furthermore, and, this is just, like, my opinion man...but Trailers should clock in at around about 2 minutes or so. At nearly 5 minutes? It comes off as a little bit desperate. As does including Krypto.

"Please like my movie!!! Pretty please!! I even brought the dog in!! Guys...we really, really gotta sell the audience on this movie! We cant keep trotting out Superman in these massive flops!"

I hope it doesn't suck. I truly do.

Superman is a lame character for a veritable cornucopia of reasons stemming from plot armour to unkillable to overpowered to always victorious to just overall lame.

Lex Luthor and Batman are right. He is effectively a God. All humanity has is his good nature, Kansas upbringing and Pa Kent to slap him on the noggin like Cesar Milan! Realistically, if he ever got sick of humanity's bull#### and changed his mind theres little to nothing we could do about it.

Now...that kind of story could be interesting. And they tried it. And they screwed it up fantastically, which is impressive in it's own way, but not a good way.

But some people seem to like him. Clearly. I liked those old Superman movies...Superman getting loaded in Calgary? Wonderful stuff!

But that was a different time and movie-goers wanted something different than what they want now.
