Right or wrong decision/policy - it’s a huge conflict of interest to have a publicly funded media reporting on the election when one side wants to cut funding and the other side wants to increase it.
I wonder where I would lean as a reporter if my job is on the line depending on who wins the election.
I’m not sure what the actual solution is because the funding has to come from “somewhere” .
