IMO they did their job correctly based on the video evidence. It looks like it's in, but you just can't clearly detect white between the goal line and puck because of the blur. The failure is on the NHL's use of crude camera technology in 2025. I understand that there's motion blur but it's a round black object on white ice represents the highest possible contrast ratio possible (compared to say a brown football on grass or yellow tennis ball on green court) yet the video footage looks like it was rendered in 480i which is simply unacceptable.
