I think Calgary just has trouble beating teams that work just as hard, but have that little bit more size and skill. Utah is a hard working team, as are St. Louis.

After the loss against Edmonton, things started becoming faint. Just nice to see them playing hard still and doing their best. It is entertaining hockey still, and for it being so late in the season, I will take it.

Count my vote for a Huska extension - what he has been getting out of this team from start to finish is damn amazing. You have to squint very hard with a welder mask on to think otherwise.

Still hope that Conroy goes the rebuild route this summer. Wolf has had a great year, but he can't keep the Flames above water by himself, and it is showing. The difference between wins and losses right now amount to talent - you can't get a team that plays as hard consistently as the Flames do, but when everyone else is playing at that effort level, that's when the edge starts to blur for this team. Still love to see them get after it, however.

Still a glimmer left. Flames schedule is fairly easy now, plus a head-to-head against the Wild that may mean a lot, and potentially an awesome team at home that may just rest a number of guys at the end of the season - if things go well enough, that might be a very meaningful game. Unlikely given the stats and all, but it is also not out of the realm of possibility either.
