If your allergies are bad, go see your doctor. He can set you up with a specialist and they can get you the proper treatment. Using Claritin and Reactine won't cut it for you if it's serious enough. Those products are available over the counter for a reason. You can go get the proper shots to combat it. My sister deals with terrible allergic reactions, her's are mostly from animals. My boss is allergic to a number of different things and he is going weekly to get a shot to help overcome it. I get it sometimes myself, but it's very rare. Only certain things set it off for me and most of the time I'm able to avoid them.

I tried the prescription drugs during my worst years, but they were as bad as the allergies themselves, leaving me drowsy and impaired. Have the drug companies overcome those side effects yet?
