The 787 is kicking an already beaten up airbus hard. It is designed as a state of the art 767 replacement--not a 'gee whiz' airplane like the A380, but far more important to the industry. The A350 is so far looking like it is too little, too late. Their only hope is some big EU subsidies to make them dirt cheap to buy. (did I use 'their' right? )

Air Canada will be getting some 787's, and don't be too surprised if Westjet does.


And what is your matter with the 737 pressurization? It is as good or better than any modern airplane, at least assuming you are talking about the NG's (600-700-800). Maybe you are talking about some of the older incarnations (maybe a Canjet -500?).
