But again how do you do that?
Not play Wolf?
You don’t just decide to lose.
Well, before we get to the bolded, starting with my own feelings:

I'm not angry.

I'm just numb.

I read somewhere that the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference.

And that's how I feel after digesting every win, or every loss this year.

Sure, I feel the temporary elation when we win games.

Sure, I feel the temporary dissapointment, as with tonight, when we lose games.

But on a whole, I just feel no excitement. Not for the standings. Not for the playoffs. Not for the draft. Not for next year.

I don't even have an opinion on Ryan Huska.

Me, who has probably made 5000 word essays on every coach since Brent Sutter on CP.

I just don't care anymore.

If I were Craig Conroy, what would I do though?

I would start by trying to move Weegar, Andersson, Coleman, Backlund, Sharangovich. And if someone's willing to take them on their contracts, Kadri and Huberdeau.

But I would NOT try to do player for player trades hoping for a diamond in the rough a la Toffoli for Sharangovich. Draft picks. Maybe prospects if you think there's a Filip Forsberg out there for our Erats, but otherwise just stick to draft picks.

Beyond that, I don't have an answer.

We're in a bad position. At least we might be able to get past the consequences of the legendarily bad Monahan trade this year?
