The Clippers went with that setup in their new building and it is pretty cool although it definitely makes a lot more sense in an NBA environment than NHL, in my opinion. They offer cheap season tickets in their "Wall" section with something that is pretty unique in that seats are assigned randomly at each game. You basically by season tickets in the section and sometimes you might be in a higher row while other times you are closer to the floor.
