Wrong.
A350 v1 v2 and XWB were made in response to the overwhelming support for the 787.
The world market isnt large enough for 2 competing double decker planes.
Think about it, only 2 carriers in all of North America use a plane that has more than 350 seats, and both those carriers have 5th freedom rights and slots to burn at Tokyo Narita.
787 would be a perect plane for a company like westjet, however the time for that was 3,4 years ago to become one of the launch customers. Unfortunately at that time the comany didnt have the vision to forsee it.
