“He’s a freak of an athlete. He’s a big kid. He looks massive in the net, but he’s super explosive. When we first drafted him, he kind of relied on his athleticism a bit too much. Now, playing a little bit deeper, it’s got him more controlled and now he’s just using his athleticism when he needs to. He’s not putting himself in bad situations and in bad spots from making those big saves when he doesn’t have to. It’s just a resource there now when he needs it.”
