Hiya,

New to the forum, but a lurker for like 2 years(hehe)

Had to reply to this because, I am a Mt Royal International Business student in my second year, and here's the scoop--right now a 4 yr applied degree is about as good of a choice as you can make(provided it's offered in the field you want). One of the big things is that when MRC gets U status(which many of my profs are on the commitee for the changeover) you will be able to finish your degree then take another semester or two to get a regular bcom--so in my case, I will have an applied bach, a reg bach, and then also CITP designation, so It's a great deal, most of the people in my program actually left the U business program(like myself).

Anyway, my 2 cents.
