Plenty more cheating anecdotes in the article. It should come as no surprise that the guy who fails in business repeatedly and claims to be the best businessman alive also does the same thing for golf.

Interesting article. It reminds me of an old SI article I read - possibly also from Rick Reilly; he was my favourite sports writer in my formative years with an SI subscription - about golfing with powerful people, including former presidents.

It mentioned Bill Clinton, and how much he broke out his "foot wedge" on the course. Why it was especially interesting, was the writer mentioned when they added up their scores at the end, he could tell Bill truly believed his doctored score he submitted was compltely accurate, as if he had played a fair game. It's like he forgets about the stuff he pulls out on the course.

Some people, including powerful ones, have an ability to sell themselves on their own BS and truly believe it. Trump 100% is wired this way.
