Sounds like the Fighter jet file is going to get discuss pretty heavily. The decision made CBC News today and the options they have to weigh are do they keep the 16 f35s they've already paid for and go with a 2 fleet AF? Doubt they want that. Do they buckle up and pray that Trump's way of governing is only going to last the 4 years and they follow through with all 88 f-35s? Or do they pay the cancellation fee and just back right the heck out of all 88 f-35 s and go after a European ounterpart. And it sounds like most believe if they do move off of f-35 it will be for the Gripen-E and it's open source blueprints that Saab is offering up.

Personally, I'd try to jump on some Rafales and negotiate a front of the line option for the NGF .

But I'd prefer they went with Gripen. It's easy to maintain, they get a fighter taylor specifically for northern sovereignty and has the fastest sortie speeds of any of the available options.

Plus I love love love delta wing fighters. They rustle my jimmies.
