How many transpeople are actually playing sports at a high level where this has somehow become a big concern. In fact I doubt many people could name more than 3 non-professional athletes that won medals in the Paris Olympics and those happened less than a year ago. It feels as though the issue is being promoted by a bunch of white men who want to appear as though they are defending women's rights, while at the same time taking them away with things that actually matter (ie bodily autonomy).
If someone can name 5 trans athletes without googling it I would be very impressed.

There seems to be an obvious solution here.
Male-to-female trans division
Female-to-male trans division
There have to be tons of trans folks who would love to play sports in a safe and welcoming environment who just don’t bother right now.
Very few people likely love volleyball or wrestling enough to go through the ####storm of negative attention that will no doubt follow.
Seems like that would help a lot with normalizing them as human beings.
And it removes an issue that can’t possibly be top of mind for anyone with real problems.
Or is that too easy?
